Terms of Service & Booking Policies
The 911 Stylist is operated by Hairstyles & Makeup By Jackie LLC. The following summarizes our booking policies.
Your signed service agreement, proposal, and invoice contain the complete terms governing your reservation.
Reservations & Payments
A signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. The final balance is due 30 calendar days before your event. A mandatory 20% gratuity is added to services. Applicable payment-processing and late-payment fees are detailed in your agreement.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be emailed to info@the911stylist.com and become effective upon receipt by our office.
For cancellations 31 or more days before the event, the retainer and other payments designated non-refundable are retained, and the unpaid balance is canceled. For cancellations 30 or fewer days before the event, the full contracted amount remains payable, subject to applicable law.
Service Changes & Rescheduling
Contracted services cannot be reduced to lower the booking total. Substitutions and additions require written approval. Date changes are treated as cancellations unless approved in writing. One approved reschedule may occur within 12 months of the original date, subject to availability and current pricing; 50% of payments already made may be credited toward that date.
Travel & Additional Fees
Mobile services include a mobilization and setup fee starting at $50, plus $1.50 per round-trip mile per artist. Clients are responsible for parking, tolls, and applicable travel expenses. Starts before 9 a.m. incur a 20% early-start fee on services assigned to each affected artist. Designated holidays incur $299.99 per artist, per event date. Additional staffing, preparation, delays, touch-ups, and style changes may incur fees as outlined in your agreement and invoice.
Preparation & Safety
Please arrive on time with clean, completely dry hair unless instructed otherwise. Mobile appointments require a safe, clean, climate-controlled workspace with suitable work surfaces and electrical access. Disclose allergies, sensitivities, and relevant skin or scalp conditions before services begin. Client-caused delays may result in additional fees or reduced service time.
Artist Availability
If an emergency prevents your scheduled artist from attending, we may assign a qualified replacement. If we cannot provide the contracted services or a qualified replacement, payments for services not provided will be refunded.
